Ambassador U Htin Lynn took over the Coordinatorship of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG) in the Human Rights Council from Ambassador Hala Hameed
The Handing-over Ceremony of the Coordinatorship of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG) in the Human Rights Council for the year 2018 was held at 11:00 a.m. on 12th December 2017 at Room S-4 of the United Nations in Geneva. It was attended by Permanent Representatives, Deputy Permanent Representatives, and representatives of the Permanent Missions of the Asia-Pacific Group.
At the ceremony, H.E. Dr. Hala Hameed, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Maldives handed over the Coordinatorship to H.E. U Htin Lynn, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
